The NFU has reported that hundreds of farmers across the country are signing up to take part in LEAF’s Open Farm Sunday on June 10. NFU members can now request their resource packs online.

The packs include a range of resources for children, including activity booklets, fun booklets, pencils and stickers.

NFU president Minette Batters said: “Open Farm Sunday offers a fantastic chance for the great British public to see first-hand how their food is produced and how our much-loved iconic countryside is managed.

“It is a great way to get children engaged in the outdoors and to show the public why supporting British farming really matters.”
