Michelle Thornton, national accounts manager at Trilanco, celebrates her 25th year working at the equine, pet and agricultural products wholesaler this month.
Michelle, pictured with Martin Balmer, Trilanco’s managing director, is one of Trilanco’s longest serving colleagues, having joined the business in 1993. Her first role was as a receptionist before helping in sales which led to a full-time position within the office-based sales support team.
After returning from maternity leave, Michelle was promoted to sales office manager, then key accounts manager and in November 2017 she became national accounts manager, working closely with the field-based equine sales manager and pet sales manager, to provide sales and customer service support to national accounts.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending quality time with her family and catching up with friends – a fair few, she is happy to say, she met through Trilanco. Michelle even met her fiancé at Trilanco – Tony Caine, purchasing manager,
