Organisers of this week’s PATS Sandown show have announced that a total of 1,677 visitors attended this year’s PATS Sandown, a drop of 316 visitors on the 2019 event.
As the pet trade experienced two days of business activity, retailers and buyers braved the worst of Storm Ciara to discover hundreds of new products being launched at the show.
Organiser Gordon Thomas said: “We were pleased with the high quality of visitors, which included independent pet retailers, the major pet chains, garden centres, high street stores and international buyers.
“It was great to see that the pet industry wasn’t put off by the awful weather and travelling conditions, ensuring that PATS Sandown experienced another highly successful show.”
The New Product Showcase attracted a record entry for PATS Sandown of more than 200 products and was a busy area throughout the event.
- Organisers of PATS are now looking forward to its autumn event, which will take place at Telford International Centre, Shropshire, on September 27-28.
