Wynnstay has confirmed that it will permanently close its depot in Salisbury, Wiltshire, this Friday (July 31).

In statement, Wynnstay said: “Wynnstay has been trading at the site for over three years, during this period we have relentlessly considered our offering and service to our customers. Through the process of deliberation, it became clear that we were falling short of what we would like to offer you in terms of product range and regrettably a difficult decision has been made.

“Having considered many options, it saddens me to confirm that we will be closing the depot at the end of July, however, we have alternative facilities in place to ensure that we can still satisfy your direct to farm requirements using our delivery service, even though no collected sales will be available.

“This has been an extremely difficult decision to make, particularly with regard to the team working at the store.”
