Just for Pets has secured an additional two stores in the West Midlands as part of its UK expansion drive.
The retail chain has opened its largest space to date in Stafford, a 10,000sq ft store on Kingsmead Retail Park, where it is located between B&M and Aldi.
The business has also secured a unit on Evesham Shopping Park in Worcestershire. The 5,410sq ft ground floor and mezzanine space immediately adjoins Marks & Spencer.
Just for Pets was acquired in October 2017 by Pedigree Wholesale. As part of its planned expansion strategy, the company enlisted national property consultancy Carter Jonas to hunt for more stores. The chain now has 19 branches and aims to open a further six by the end of 2022.
Stuart Williams, commercial partner at Carter Jonas, said: “Just for Pets is on a remarkable journey, and we are proud to be playing a role supporting its ongoing expansion.
“Its clear vision and targeted growth strategy, putting customers front and centre, has enabled it to secure sites at key locations with a dedicated team focused on building community links and brand loyalty.
“This approach, which has re-energised the retail proposition, continues to gather momentum and is particularly appealing to landlords.”
