NOAH’s Pets and Rental campaign has been shortlisted for the Trade Association Forum Campaign of the Year Award 2023.
Dawn Howard, NOAH chief executive, said: “We are very proud to be shortlisted with this campaign, which sought to increase access to pet ownership for renters across the UK – who are often excluded from the physical and mental health benefits of living with pets. Working with a broad coalition of others, we believe we have collectively helped shift perception around renting with pets.
“In the summer of 2022, the Department of Levelling Up, Communities and Housing published its Renters’ Reform White Paper, which included a section on renting with pets that directly mirrors the views and proposals that NOAH – and campaigning partners – put forward.
“With a record number of entries to the awards, being shortlisted is a testament not only to NOAH’s hard work, but also shows the vital importance of a collaborative approach in securing real policy changes that can have a positive impact on the lives of many people.”
The awards, supported by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, support excellence, innovation and best practice amongst Trade Associations in the UK.
The awards take place on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Merchant Taylors’ Hall, London.
