Jollyes has confirmed the opening dates for its new stores in Harrogate in North Yorkshire, and Widnes, Cheshire.
Jollyes Harrogate, located at Unit 2C, Hookstone Park, Harrogate, HG2 7DB, will open at 9am on Friday 29 September, with an official ceremony at 12pm.
The retailer’s Widnes store, at Unit 5, Widnes Shopping Park, Widnes, WA8 7TN, will open the following day, Saturday, September 30, at 10am.
Both stores will feature a Jolly Groomer and Jollyes said that prices for a bath and brush will start at £15.
At Widnes there’ll also be a community pet clinic, where vet-supervised dog and cat vaccinations will start at £14 and £13 for rabbits, with primary course jabs for dogs and cats at £33.
In Harrogate, Dawn Jenkins will transfer from Jollyes’ Selby store after four years working for the retailer; the Widnes store will be managed by Lyndsey Fearns, who is moving to the new store from across the Mersey in Runcorn.
Ms Fearns developed a soothing paw balm for dogs on her kitchen table with childhood friend Becky Dutton-Geraghty that’s now sold in Jollyes stores across the UK.
Harrogate and Widnes stores will become Jollyes’ 94th and 95th UK stores respectively – part of Jollyes’ ambitious expansion plans, which has seen it exceed £100 million turnover in FY2023, employ over 1,000 staff and put it well on the way to having 100 stores within the next 12 months.
