Jollyes’ new store at the Great Eastern Retail Park, Rotherham wasn’t hard to ‘spot’ this weekend as the chain’s 101st UK store was opened by 101 dalmatians.
Jollyes and the dalmatians were joined by Mayor Cllr Robert Taylor, Cruella de Vil, a dalmatian mascot and local Rotherham ‘Ambassa-dogs’ Fenrir and Daisy for the opening on Friday, March 22.
The new store has created 10 jobs and is managed by Cat Wildey, who’s moved from Jollyes’ Doncaster store. She has worked for Jollyes for 19 years, starting out as supervisor in Selby and after a year was promoted to deputy manager moving across to the Sheffield store.
Following her time at this store, Cat moved to Doncaster in 2014 as store manager and will now be running the exciting new Rotherham store, which has a Jolly Groomer and Community Pet Clinic.
Jollyes regional manager Kerry Midgley said: “We’re delighted to have opened the store and begun serving pet parents in and around Rotherham.
“We’d like to thank Mayor Robert Taylor and his team for joining us to give the store a brilliant launch – and of course all the dalmatians that joined us on opening day.”
