After a successful first SQP Congress earlier this year, Vetpol has announced that the event will return in 2025, at a new venue next April.
Vetpol director Caroline Johnson said that the SQP Congress 2025 will take place on Tuesday, April 8, at the four-star Burleigh Court Conference Centre and Hotel in Loughborough, which is currently undergoing a £4 million refurbishment.
“The SQP Congress 2025 will feature a first class range of speakers and topics, based on delegate feedback and requests from this year’s Congress,” Mrs Johnson said.
“Next year’s Congress will build on successes of this year and introduce some new elements that will include hands-on learning zones and an expert panel debate, an opportunity for SQPs to ask their burning questions direct to a panel of experts, which will include representatives from the Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) and the National Office for Animal Health (NOAH).
Mrs Johnson said the party night will feature a live band, Go Commando, while during the day, the main hall will feature companion animal presentations and Vetpol is currently looking into the option of also running a separate stream for farm SQPs.
Vetpol said that 60 Congress tickets have already been reserved, and super early bird tickets, heavily discounted, are available through the registration body’s Learning Management System.
