AHDA Conference programme
AHDA is pleased to announce that the next AHDA Conference will again be held at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole Hotel at the NEC.
Following the postponements in 2022, AHDA was delighted with the highly successful event in January 2023 and is looking forward to seeing friends old and new next January. There will again be a packed exhibition hall with 50 exhibitor stands, with some of the leading animal health companies as well as the VMD, AMTRA, COWS and SCOPS
Delegate workshops are back again on day one.
Day one will start with Abi Seager, chief executive of the VMD as the keynote speaker. All delegates will then be able to attend a range of workshops on the Monday, with two optional workshops in the morning and two in the afternoon (all earning CPD points)
Morning sessions (a choice of the following):
- Harper Adams –SQP exams – The latest information and developments
- Industry leaders panel, background, current issues, what’s in the future, plus question time.
Afternoon sessions (a choice of two workshops):
- Workshop to cover FEC and evidence based prescribing and including integrated parasite control;
- Customer behaviour and how to engage customers.
On day two, we will focus on a wide range of speaker presentations relevant to today’s world in animal health and welfare. These sessions will be split into “Farm Animal” and “Companion Animal & Equine”. Delegates can, of course, move between the two topics.
In addition to accessing the most up-to-date research and findings from our industry experts, there will be around 45 CPD points available for SQPs attending.
