Animax has appointed Nigel Hemphill as its new commercial director. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the agribusiness sector.

Prior to joining Animax he was sales manager of ForFarmers N.V, which has annual sales of around 10 million tonnes of animal feed and is the EU market leader.

Mr Hemphill said: “I am delighted to be joining Animax, which is the market leader in trace element supplementation for livestock. The Animax R&D team is developing innovative animal health products and the company is growing its market share, so I am looking forward to meeting current trade customers and developing new business in overseas markets.”

Philip Codling Animax’s managing director, said: “Nigel is exceptionally well-qualified to take on this senior management position with our company, which specialises in the research, development and manufacture of highly effective animal health products.”
