After a challenging 12 months for SQPs, caused by the pandemic, now is the time to be recognised at the industry’s leading awards programme.
The National SQP Awards is a key date in the animal health industry calendar.
OvertheCounter, in conjunction with AMTRA and AHDA, is delighted to reward the best in the industry. SQPs do a sterling job in normal times – your work during the pandemic has high- lighted the knowledge that you have, as well as your commitment to learning and advising customers. The National SQP Awards 2021 is your chance to be recognised by the industry.
The focus of the National SQP Awards is on you – a business can only be as good as those who work for it.
The culmination of the National SQP Awards will be the awards lunch, held on Friday, November 5, at the Houses of Parliament, one of the most iconic buildings in the world. Winners of the 13 categories will be announced at the lunch. The National SQP of the Year title will be chosen from the Companion Animal, Equine, Farm and Veterinary Practice SQP of the Year winners.
There is a special cash prize of £500 for the winner of the National SQP of the Year title – and we are delighted to have received sponsorship from some of the best-known names in the animal health industry, which add adds extra value and prestige to these awards.
The National SQP Awards offer more than just a great day out, a fabulous lunch and the chance to win a big cash prize.
“The National SQP Awards are organised and judged properly, and can bring significant benefits to this industry,” says Simon Lewis, group managing director of Lewis Business Media, the publisher of OvertheCounter.
“The National SQP Awards exist to recognise, reward and encourage excellent performance from our readers.
“Most award schemes do this in their respective industries, but they are particularly important in ours. The best SQPs work hard and deliver a great deal to their employers, and this is one of the few places, if not the only place, that this is recognised.”
Mr Lewis continues: “From a company’s point of view, encouraging and rewarding good performance has to be a good thing.
“From an individual’s point of view, being recognised offers great prestige and the potential to progress further.”
