Neue Schule said its new national campaign, Pledge to Ride, is designed to bring members of the country’s equestrian community together in a combined effort to improve fitness, boost mental wellbeing and establish good riding habits.
Sarfraz Mian, the company’s chief executive officer, said: “As we emerge from lockdown into a strange and different world, we are inviting riders to pull together, pledge some minutes spent in the saddle and commit to taking part in any type of riding activity.
“They might already be a regular rider or someone who hasn’t ridden for a while – or they might like to take up a new hobby – but now is the time act, to get fitter, feel the companionship of other like-minded people and experience the wonderful connection between human and horse.”
Mr Mian said the company believes that encouraging one another to get out and ride is a great way to lift spirits, maintain motivation and spur one another on.
“There’s lots of fun to be had along the way and we hope that as many people as possible – as well as lots of equestrian companies – will come on board to join us,” he said.
Those wishing to take part in Pledge to Ride should visit the Neue Schule website, www.nsbits.com, where they can register their activity and leave a message to help build up the campaign community.
