SCOPS is encouraging all sheep farmers in England, Wales and Scotland to participate in a Nottingham University sheep scab survey.
The survey is relevant to all producers, whether or not they have experienced sheep scab in their flock before. It aims to understand opinions, experiences and decisions made by British farmers when managing the parasite. It takes 15 minutes to complete and all participants can opt into a free prize draw to win an Apple iPad or one of two £100 vouchers.
Lesley Stubbings of SCOPS said: “Please take the opportunity to complete this important survey. SCOPS is working hard in the area of sheep scab and for us, and the industry as a whole, it will better guide future work if we all better understand farmer attitudes and thoughts.
“It doesn’t take long to complete, it’s completely confidential and any information you provide will be used in research anonymously.”
