Virbac has announced that Equimax, its established equine wormer brand, is now presented in improved packaging, with less plastic components and a new recyclable cardboard box.

The company said that Equimax fits perfectly into the innovative 3D Worming approach to equine parasite control that encourages responsible and sustainable worming practices, offering a valuable resource for both horse owners and SQPs

“The new cardboard component is a substantial step forward making the new packaging more environmentally friendly,” said Sabrina Jordan, Virbac’s equine product manager. “This new Equimax packaging has a fresh new look and is now available at wholesalers.”

Equimax treats roundworms, bots and all three species of tapeworm in a single dose. It is available in an easy-to-handle ergonomic syringe to treat up to 700kg bodyweight.
