Agricultural supplies business Wynnstay has acquired the business of Stanton Farm Supplies, which was established in 2003 by Andrew Stanton, who brought with him over 20 years of dairy hygiene and manufacturing experience. The business has since grown to cover Avon, Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire.

The acquisition further develops Wynnstay’s presence in the South West region having previously purchased eight stores from the administrators of Countrywide Farmers Plc in April 2018.

Mr Stanton said: “I am delighted to announce this development in our business giving us the opportunity to extend the range of products and services available to our customer base.
